Event Overview
The Donut Dash 5k is a running event held in Olympia, Washington. The course is designed to be fast and flat, taking participants around Capitol Lake and featuring an out and back section along Deschutes Parkway. Both the start and the finish lines are located at Heritage Park.

Participation and Awards
The 5 km race is limited to 400 participants. Runners in this category receive a Donut Dash T-shirt, with sizes available for both men and women. The 1 km event is intended for children aged 12 and under, and participants receive a ribbon or medal upon completion.
Awards are presented to the top three overall finishers in the men, women, and nonbinary categories. Additionally, awards are given to the top three finishers in each 10-year age group.
Logistics
Registration for the event is conducted online only. Race packets can be collected on the day before the event at a local sports store or at Heritage Park near the start line on the morning of the race. Group discounts are available for parties of four or more people who register together. All funds raised through the event are contributed back into the local running community.
