Event Overview
The Donut Dash takes place on March 15, 2026 in Olympia, Washington. It features two events: a 5K run and a free 1K Kids Dash for participants aged 12 and under. The event starts and finishes at Heritage Park.
Course
The 5K course is described as fast and flat. It goes around Capitol Lake and follows an out-and-back route along Deschutes Parkway.
Registration & Details
The total event is limited to 400 participants. Online registration is required, even for same-day entry. Registration for the 5K has a tiered pricing structure:
- $35 through March 7, 2026
- $40 from March 8 through March 14, 2026
- $45 on race day
Discounts are available for Club Oly members and for groups registering together. The free Kids Dash registration ends on race day.
Packet pickup is offered on Saturday, March 14 at Fleet Feet Olympia, or on race day at Heritage Park before the events start.
Awards & Swag
Awards for the 5K are given to the top three overall men, women, and nonbinary runners, and to the top three in each 10-year age group. Participants in the 5K receive a Donut Dash T-shirt, with a deadline to guarantee a shirt size of February 27, 2026. Kids in the 1K dash receive a ribbon or medal.
