Event Overview
The Spooky Sprint is a Halloween-themed running event held in Wichita, Kansas. This race offers professional chip-timing with live results and awards for participants in the timed distance categories. Attendees can access free event photos and receive food treats at the finish line.
Participants can choose from several distance options:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)

- Virtual Race (allows participants to run at a location of their choice)
The Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K registrations include a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a finisher medal. The 1 Mile event is an untimed option that provides the same participant items. For the Kids Dash, registered children receive a mini bib, a youth-sized shirt, and a specifically crafted medal, though children may participate in the dash for free if they do not require the commemorative items.
There is also a volunteer-based entry where individuals assist with event preparations 30 minutes before packet pickup begins and subsequently run their chosen distance. To ensure a shirt is included with registration, participants must complete their entry by midnight on the Thursday falling two weeks prior to the race day.
