41st Annual Run for the Roses
The Run for the Roses takes place in Rose Hill, Kansas, with the start and finish located at Rose Hill United Methodist Church. The event coincides with the Rose Hill Fall Festival and is sponsored by Rose Hill High School Cross Country.

The course is described as flat and follows an out and back route along Rose Hill Road. Races will be conducted regardless of rain. Signs will be used to aid traffic control and restroom facilities will be provided.
Packet pickup is available the afternoon before the race at the Rose Room (101 N. Rose Hill Rd.) and on the morning of the event at the church. Race fees include a shirt; sizes are set during online registration. Fees increase by $5 on race day.
Awards include medals for the top three male and female finishers in each age division for each race. The top male and female overall finishers in the 5K receive a trophy. Awards are presented at the finish line immediately following each race.
Age divisions are: 9 and Under; 10 to 14; 15 to 19; 20 to 24; 25 to 29; 30 to 34; 35 to 39; 40 to 44; 45 to 49; 50 to 59; 60 and Over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
