Hometown Half Marathon & 5k/10k - St. Paul
The annual Hometown Half Marathon & 5k/10k takes place on 05/03/2026 at Elm Creek Park Reserve, 12400 James Deane Pkwy, Maple Grove, MN 55369. The event offers in-person and virtual participation options.
Race options include:
- Kid's Dash: 50 yards, untimed, for ages 10 and under.
- 1 Mile: untimed distance.
- 5K: 3.1 miles.
- 10K: 6.2 miles.
- Half Marathon: 13.1 miles.
- Running Buddy Half Marathon: 13.1 miles, requires prior approval.
- Volunteer and Run: volunteer before racing, then run any distance.
- Virtual Run: complete the distance at any location.
Most in-person race entries include a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a finisher medal. The 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon use chip timing with live results and awards. The Kid's Dash and the 1 Mile are untimed events. Youth pricing for the 5K and 10K is available for participants 12 and under at $17.
Virtual participants receive a digital bib, event shirt, finisher medal, and packet shipping; packets are mailed the Wednesday after the race and participants can upload times and photos. Volunteer and Run registrants are asked to arrive 30 minutes before packet pickup to assist. To guarantee a shirt, register by midnight on the Thursday two weeks before the race.
