About the race
The Dominion Valley Turkey Trot takes place on November 21 at Dominion Valley Country Club in Haymarket, VA. The event includes a certified 5k course that is mostly flat with a few rolling hills and a 1 mile fun run. Walkers and strollers are welcome.

- 5k (USATF certified, mostly flat with a few rolling hills)
- 1 Mile Fun Run (option to buy a shirt for $15; medals awarded to fun runners)
The 5k is chip timed. Registered runners receive a long sleeve event shirt if they register by November 11; additional shirts may be available after that date on a first-come first-served basis. Registration fees listed by the organizer include: 5k : $35 until June 1, $40 until November 20, $45 on the day; 1 Mile : $15. Bishop’s Events promo or discount codes cannot be used for this race.
The race benefits Willing Warriors. There is one water station on the 5k course at about mile 2. Restrooms are located at the Sport Pavilion. Packet pickup is available at the event and the Friday before the race from 4–8 pm; the organizer recommends arriving before the event to collect materials. Race day registration is available but shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed for late registrants.
Live results will be posted on Athlinks and final results with series points will be posted the Monday after the race. Awards are given to the top male and female overall and to the top three male and female in these age groups: 15 & under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
