About the race
The ARTfactory 5K and Fun Run: A Frozen Experience is a winter-themed community running event held in Haymarket, Virginia on 11/14/2026. The event supports ARTfactory's mission to inspire creativity, arts education, and cultural engagement in the region.
Participants of all ages may run, walk, or jog along a festive course that features icy surprises, frosty-themed decorations, and family-friendly entertainment. The event includes a costume contest and awards a custom finisher's medal to all finishers.
Two race distances are offered:
- 5K
- 1 Mile
Registration details and fees are provided for each distance. The 5K has a registration period beginning 8/13/2026 and closing 9/30/2026 with a registration fee of $40.00. The 1 Mile registration opens 8/13/2026 and closes on the day of the event with a registration fee of $15.00.
