The Cumby 2026
The Cumby is a series of trail races held in Cumberland, British Columbia, in the Cumberland Hills. The event supports the Cumberland Community Forest Society and donates all net proceeds to that organization.
Four race distances are offered for 2026:
- 25 km Full Cumby
- 16 km Half Cumby
- 8.5 km Quarter Cumby
- 4.5 km Cumbino for children and novice runners
Event services include chip timing, custom hand crafted medals, on course aid stations, hot and cold food and beverages, and a beer tent in the finish area. New course routes are announced for 2026 and volunteer led familiarization runs are scheduled for April 11 and April 18.
Swag for 2026 includes custom technical Scimitar running shirts and Outway socks, available for purchase only until March 13 to meet delivery timelines. The event reports that over the past ten years it has raised more than a quarter million dollars for the forest society. For 2026 the fundraising total shows CA$10,747.44 raised toward a CA$10,000.00 goal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
