Comox Valley RV Half Marathon
The Comox Valley RV Half Marathon takes place in Courtenay, British Columbia, with the event hub located at the Florence Filberg Centre. This road running event is part of the Vancouver Island Race Series and features a course set within a rural environment.
Participants can select from multiple distances:

The route traverses nearly traffic-free rural roads among farms, offering mountain views of the Comox Valley. The course design includes gently rolling hills on the outbound section and a net downhill second half, which allows for tactical pace management.
Registration for the event is capped at 1100 participants. The races are open to runners, walkers, race walkers, and wheelchair athletes. For safety reasons, no pets, strollers, roller blades, or bicycles are permitted on the course. Registered guide dogs are the only exception, and visually impaired participants with guides are required to start at the back of the field. The use of headphones is discouraged to ensure participants can hear instructions from officials or emergency services. The event also serves as a fundraising platform for KidSport BC.
