Event Information
The Comox Valley RV Half Marathon is a road running event held in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. It takes place on a Sunday in March. The start and finish location is the Florence Filberg Centre in Courtenay.
Multiple distances are offered, ranging from 5 km to the half marathon. The course is described as rural and nearly traffic-free, winding through farms and offering mountain views. It features gently rolling hills on the way out and a net downhill second half.
Registration is capped at 1100 participants. The event is open to runners, racewalkers, walkers, and wheelchair athletes. Pets are not permitted, with the exception of registered guide dogs for visually impaired participants. The use of headphones is discouraged and can lead to disqualification if they impede another participant or emergency services.
