Devil's Ladder Ultra 2026
Devil's Ladder Ultra is scheduled for July 11, 2026 in Cumberland, British Columbia. The event offers three race distances that take place in the Cumberland Forest, with start and finish at Cumberland Village Park.

Routes run on singletrack through a rainshadow forest ecosystem and include climbs, flowy singletrack sections, and sustained downhill segments. Village Park will serve as the event base and will host all day music, post race food, and a nearby beer garden.
The race is organized and supported by volunteers. Proceeds support the Cumberland Community Forest Society, United Riders of Cumberland, and Comox Valley Ground Search & Rescue. A limited number of anonymous fee waiver entries are available to reduce financial barriers, with a set quantity per distance.
The event notes wildfire and fire risk as factors that can lead to changes or cancellation depending on weather, current fire activity, and access permits. Cancellation insurance is offered at registration. Generally there are no refunds except for pregnancy, no waitlists or transfers between participants, and participants may drop down to a shorter distance according to the race policies.
