Dock Street School Autism Acceptance 5K Run/Walk
The Dock Street School Autism Acceptance 5K Run/Walk is a community event held at Brooklyn Bridge Park, with activity centered at Pier 6. The event raises funds for the Dock Street School ASD Horizon Program.
Participants assemble at Pier 6 off Atlantic Avenue. The course follows an out and back route that passes Piers 6, 5, and 2, with a turnaround at the end of Pier 1. The layout keeps start and finish on the same route.
Event amenities include running the piers in Brooklyn Bridge Park, live results delivered by text and email, same-day finish line photos, and free video. Personalized race bibs are offered to registrants who register at least three weeks before the event.
Bib pickup is managed by event staff. Participants need to know their bib number to pick up a bib; a self lookup area is available for those who do not. Registrations made close to pickup also have options to receive bib information by text or via the online lookup.
Registration for the event is not yet open. All proceeds benefit the Dock Street School ASD Horizon Program. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
