Dock Street School Autism Acceptance 5K Run/Walk
The Dock Street School Autism Acceptance event is a community 5K run and walk scheduled for April 25, 2026, at Brooklyn Bridge Park, Pier 6 Plaza in Brooklyn, NY. The course is an out-and-back route that runs around Piers 6, 5, and 2 with a turnaround at the end of Pier 1; participants meet at Pier 6 off Atlantic Avenue. The event will take place rain or shine.
All proceeds benefit the Dock Street School ASD Horizon Program. Registration is not yet open; the organizer offers a notification option for when registration becomes available.
Amenities include running the park piers, live results delivered by text or email, and a personalized race bib for those who register at least three weeks in advance. Bib pickup is handled by event staff starting one hour before the event; a self-lookup area is available for participants who do not know their bib number. If registration occurs within 24 hours of bib pickup, the bib number will be sent by text.
