Dock Street School Autism Acceptance 5K Run/Walk
This event is a community 5K run/walk scheduled for April 25, 2026, at Brooklyn Bridge Park, Pier 6 Plaza in Brooklyn, NY. The distance offered is 5K, and the event supports the Dock Street School ASD Horizon Program; all proceeds benefit that program.
The course is an out-and-back route that runs around Pier 6, Pier 5, and Pier 2, with a turnaround at the end of Pier 1 and a return along the same route. Participants are instructed to meet at Pier 6 off Atlantic Ave.
Amenities include running the park piers, live results delivered by text or email, and a personalized bib for registrants who sign up at least three weeks in advance. Bib pickup is handled by event staff beginning one hour before the event; participants must know their bib number to pick up a bib or use the self-lookup area. Registrations completed within 24 hours of bib pickup receive a bib number by text within 90 seconds or may use the bib lookup option.
