Dock Street School Autism Acceptance 5K Run/Walk
The Dock Street School Autism Acceptance 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for April 25, 2026 in Brooklyn Bridge Park at Pier 6 Plaza. The event follows an out-and-back route that passes around Piers 6, 5, and 2, with a turnaround at the end of Pier 1. Participants are asked to meet at Pier 6 off of Atlantic Avenue.
Amenities include live results delivered by text and email, free same-day finish line photos and video, and a personalized race bib for registrants who enroll at least three weeks before the event. All proceeds benefit the Dock Street School ASD Horizon Program.
For bib pickup, event staff manage distribution on the day of the event. Runners must know their bib number to pick up a bib; a self lookup area is available for those who do not. Registrations completed within 24 hours of bib pickup will receive a bib number by text within about 90 seconds, or participants can use the bib lookup option. Miscellaneous photos are posted afterward on the organizer's Facebook page.
