Event Overview
The Divas Galveston Half Marathon is a timed running event scheduled for a Sunday in late April. It offers two race distances: a half marathon and a 5K.
Race Details
The course for both distances starts and finishes at Beach Central in Galveston. Along the course, there is a station where participants can pick up a tiara and a boa. Water stations are available with water, sports drinks, and portable restrooms.
Participant Experience
Registration includes a race shirt and a pink tutu. Participants receive a finisher medal upon completing the race. The event awards the top three overall female finishers and the top three female finishers in each age group with special medals.
Logistics
Packet pickup is available on the Saturday before the race at the Historic Galveston Water and Electric Light Community Center, or on race day at Beach Central for a fee. There is an option to have the packet shipped for an additional cost. Parking is available at the Beach Central Parking Garage for a fee and on the north side of the Seawall.
