About the race
The Dinton 5km & 10km Summer Series, hosted by Barnes Fitness, is a popular running event held at Dinton Pastures Country Park near Reading. Celebrating its 13th year, the series takes place over four months with races on select Thursdays from May to August. It features friendly, traffic-free off-road courses that are pancake flat, with a 5km single lap and a 10km double lap option.
The event welcomes runners of all abilities and includes a 2km kids' race for ages 4 to 14, held shortly before the main races. New for 2025, participants receive metal medals.
