Dino Dash
Dino Dash is a community run, walk, and bike event held at The Market Place in Tustin on November 1, 2026. The event benefits the Tustin Public Schools Foundation, which funds grants, scholarships, and enrichment programs for Tustin Unified students.
The event offers multiple distances:
- 2K Fun Run, non-timed
- 5K Run, chip-timed
- 10K Run, chip-timed
- Bike Tour 15K, not timed
- Bike Tour 5K, not timed
- 5K Middle School race
Awards and finisher recognitions are organized as follows. Top finishers in each age division of the chip-timed 5K and 10K receive handmade trophies created by Tustin Unified students; second and third place finishers receive medals. The finisher medal for the 10K, 5K, and Bike Tours features a student-designed logo. The 2K Fun Run and the Bike Tours do not have age division awards.
Bike Tour details include a 15K route that passes through Tustin and Irvine and returns to The Market Place; this route is recommended for riders age 13 and up because it is on open roads. The 5K bike tour is a family-friendly route on closed streets. Riders must wear a helmet, be able to fix mechanical breakdowns, and follow traffic laws. Electric bikes are allowed on the 15K tour.
A free family Expo accompanies the event, with activities, school fundraising booths, and exhibitors. Race day registrations do not include a shirt due to limited quantities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
