Dig Deep Dash 5K Run/Walk
The Dig Deep Dash 5K Run/Walk is a 3.1 mile event that benefits Dig Deep Theatre, a nonprofit 501(c)3 based in Santa Clarita. The 2nd Annual Dig Deep Dash takes place on Saturday November 7, 2026 at West Creek Park, 24247 Village Cir Dr, Valencia, CA 91354.
The course follows the San Francisquito Creek Trail and is an out-and-back route that starts and finishes at West Creek Park. Runners and walkers follow a designated turnaround point along the trail.
The event is family friendly and open to all ages and experience levels. Participants are encouraged but not required to wear costumes; costumes may represent characters from film, TV, or theatre. All proceeds support upcoming staged productions and readings of classic and contemporary dramas and comedies.
All participants receive a 2026 participation medal made from recycled materials, dated with the 2026 race date and featuring local Santa Clarita details. The medal was designed by a California Institute of the Arts MFA graphic design student. Each participant also receives a goody bag that includes water, a banana, snacks, and additional items to be announced. Additional prizes are awarded for race and best costume winners; 2025 prizes included gym passes and a free yoga class.
There is a free parking lot and free street parking at West Creek Park. For safety, headphones are not recommended; if used, participants are asked to keep volume low or wear only one earbud. Walkers stay to the right and runners pass on the left. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
