Monster Dash - Simi Valley
Monster Dash in Simi Valley is a Halloween-themed, family-friendly running event held at Rancho Simi Park on October 25, 2026. The event uses an open, shared-path course and asks participants to be courteous to pedestrians, other runners, and cyclists. The route is marked and consists of out-and-back loops on the trail.
Distances offered:
- 5k (1 loop)
- 10k (2 loops)
- 15k (3 loops)
- Half marathon (3 x 4.37 mile loops)
Aid stations are provided at every loop for the looped distances. Included with registration are custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, free photos and videos, posted results within 12 to 24 hours, and an assortment of snacks and samples. Race day registration accepts common payment methods and published entry fees are 5k $30, 10k $35, 15k $40, and half marathon $45. There is a no refund policy; transfers and group discounts are available by request. The half marathon has a 3 hour 15 minute time limit; earlier starts may be available by request.
Parking is free at Rancho Simi Park, with closest access near the pickleball courts and additional parking near the community pool and kickball fields. Volunteer positions are available that can provide a free race entry. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
