Monster Dash - Simi Valley / Haunted Valley 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon
This event takes place at Rancho Simi Park in Simi Valley on October 25, 2026. It is Halloween themed and costumes are welcome. The course runs on shared trails and paths; participants should be courteous to other pedestrians, runners, and cyclists.
Distances offered:
- 5k (one loop)
- 10k (two loops)
- 15k (three loops)
- Half marathon (three 4.37 mile loops)
The course is an open, out-and-back loop format with an aid station at each loop for all looped distances. Registration includes a custom finisher medal, a drawstring goodie bag, free photos tied to bib numbers, free videos and cinematic highlight reels, live results at finish, trophies and achievement badges for milestones, Ascend Index ranking and tracking features, and access to the A Better World Running app. An assortment of snacks and samples is provided.
Parking at Rancho Simi Park is free, with closest parking near the pickleball courts and additional parking near the community pool and kickball fields. There is a 3 hour 15 minute time limit for the half marathon; requests for different start arrangements or transfers are handled by the organizer.
