Sport In Action Carlisle Resolution Runs
The event takes place at Carlisle Race Course on 17 January 2027 and offers measured running courses for two distances.

The 5K is fully on the racecourse and includes two laps of an ambulance track that is traffic free and surfaced with tarmac. It finishes in front of the racecourse main stand. Course elevation for the 5K is listed as +161 ft gain and -152 ft loss, with maximum grade +3.5 and minimum grade -4.2.
The 10K follows a road loop that returns onto the racecourse to finish in front of the main stand. The organiser provides a turn-by-turn description of the route and both a new and old course profile; the new 10K has elevation gain +209 ft and loss -212 ft with maximum grade +2.5 and minimum grade -2.8. The courses are officially measured and certified by the Association of UK Course Measurers, and a measurement certificate will be available.
Race numbers and timing chips are issued at race registration. A full course risk assessment, route maps, race permit and measurement certificate will be displayed at event headquarters on race day in accordance with UKA rules. Live results are provided by a timing service and posted after the race.
Prize structure includes overall male and female 1st to 3rd places and age group prizes scaled by the number of competitors. Entry fees start from £17 and registration closes on 17 January 2027. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
