Course, entry and race information
The 10 km route will use about 95% of the original course and will be officially measured in January. The 5 km route stays on the racecourse and includes two laps of the ambulance track on tarmac; the 5 km course is undulating and traffic free. Both courses are officially measured and certified by the Association of UK Course Measurers.
The routes use a mixture of quiet country roads that are generally flat or gently undulating; road surfaces are described as generally okay. Competitors are asked to follow marshal instructions and take care at turns. The runs finish close to the racecourse grandstand. Race numbers and chips are issued at registration.
Entry fees listed are £21.00 plus a £0.50 plus 5% fee for the 10 km and £17.00 plus a £0.50 plus 5% fee for the 5 km. Affiliated club runners receive a £2 online discount. Registration closes 15 January 2026. The withdrawal policy applies a 50% charge for cancellations up to 18 December 2025; after that date no refunds are given.
Overall prizes are awarded for male and female 1st to 3rd places. Age group prizes follow a tiered scale based on the number of competitors in each age group. Results are provided live by a timing service. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
