The event takes place on 17 January 2027 at Carlisle Race Course in England. It offers measured and certified courses for 10 km and 5 km, with measurement certificates and a permit on display at event HQ.

The 5 km course is fully on the racecourse and includes two laps of an ambulance track that is traffic free and surfaced in tarmac. The 5 km finishes in front of the racecourse main stand. Elevation for the 5 km: gain +161 ft, loss -152 ft, max grade +3.5, min grade -4.2.
The 10 km uses a new permanent course that begins near Durdar Road about 400 yards from the racecourse entrance, follows local roads including Unthank, passes several junctions and a bridge, and returns to finish in front of the main stand. New course elevation: gain +209 ft, loss -212 ft, max grade +2.5, min grade -2.8. The old 10 km course elevation is also listed for comparison.
Race numbers and timing chips are issued at registration. Prizes are awarded to overall male and female 1st to 3rd places and age group prizes vary by category size: 1st only for 1–17 competitors, 1st and 2nd for 18–27, and 1st to 3rd for 28 or more. Withdrawals before 18 December 2025 incur a 50% charge, after that date no refunds are given. Live timing and results are provided by the event timing service.
