DFW Burning Soles Trail Series Race 7 - Northshore Trail MADD Shelter
Race 7 is part of an eight week summer trail series held weekly at the Northshore Trail MADD Shelter in Flower Mound, TX. The series uses laps of Loop 5 with a short portion of Loop 6 to a natural turnaround where a water cache is available.
Trails are described as singletrack and will be well marked. Races are chip timed and use a mass start for each distance with all divisions starting together. When a participant arrives for their first race they are assigned a series bib that should be used for subsequent races.
Distances for the event:
- 10K - approximate trail lap distance
- 5K - approximate trail lap distance
Weekly results include podium recognition for the top three male and top three female finishers in each distance, plus age group calls to the podium. At the end of the eight week series a final award recognizes the top three in each division.
Organizers include two rain dates per round and will reschedule cancelled races to listed open dates. There are no refunds for the series; transfer requests to alternate dates are accepted. In the event of a cancellation due to weather or trail closures registrations are credited to the next week in the series and there are no refunds for reschedules to rain dates.
