Run Fest - Plano, TX
Run Fest takes place on August 15, 2026 at Red Tail Pavilion, Oak Point Park, Plano, Texas (2801 E Spring Creek Pkwy). The event is produced by Johnson Run Series, a Dallas-based nonprofit.
The festival includes three chip-timed road races on flat, paved surfaces. Distances offered:
- 5K - 3.1 miles, chip-timed, flat paved course.
- 10K - 6.2 miles, chip-timed, flat paved course.
- 15K - 9.3 miles, chip-timed, flat paved course.
All races offer age group awards. Every finisher receives a custom JRS Run Fest race jersey and a limited-edition bottle opener finisher medal. The event is open to all ages and notes that families are welcome.
Music programming for the event features a curated 2000s throwback and Afrobeats throughout the festival. A post-race festival includes a live DJ, local food vendors, and a curated vendor market.
Registration opens May 22, 2026 and closes July 1, 2026. Registration fees listed for the races are fifty dollars for the 5K and 10K, and fifty-five dollars for the 15K. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
