5K community fundraiser
This annual 5K run/walk is a community fundraiser held at Jack's Abby Brewery in Framingham, MA on November 1, 2026. The race began in 2017 and was organized by close family friends and community members to support a child undergoing treatment and that family. Proceeds benefit families whose children are battling DIPG.
The event includes a race distance of 3.1 miles, with options for spectators and volunteers to take part in non-running activities. Attendees can expect kids' activities, raffles, auction items, local vendors, live music from Route 9, a Patriots game shown on screen, and food and drinks provided by Jack's Abby. Fundraising is encouraged: for every $100 raised, participants earn a raffle ticket for a chance to win two seats to the Boston Bruins versus Philadelphia Flyers game on January 29, with specific seats noted as Loge 6, Row 2 behind the net.
