Devils in the Canyon Trip - Zion 2026
Devils in the Canyon Trip is a multi-day trail running retreat organized by Bad Luck Run Club in Springdale, CA and St. George near Zion National Park. The trip runs September 25 to September 28, 2026, and is limited to 22 participants with a wait list once capacity is reached. All participants must be 21 or older.
The trip includes three days of trail running inside Zion National Park with group-led runs and an expectation that participants are comfortable running 15-17 miles on trails. Group logistics provided include national park entry fees for all park days, group lunches during park days, a 12-person van with gas, and a hotel room at the Tru by Hilton in St. George on a double occupancy basis. Flights, dinners, hotel incidentals, personal snacks, and any beverages are not included. Hotel rooms are shared.
Runs across the trip:
- Saturday: two short runs, 3-4 miles each.
- Sunday: 17-20 miles on the East Rim or West Rim options.
- Monday: easy 4-mile trail run or hike.
Pricing is tiered: early registration to April 18 is $450, standard April 19 to July 1 is $500, late July 2 to September 24 is $650. Refunds are available on a sliding scale with full refunds through April 18 and no refunds after September 18.
