Devils in the Canyon Trip
Devils in the Canyon Trip is a three day trail running retreat organized by Bad Luck Run Club, taking place September 25 to 28, 2026, in St. George and Zion National Park, Utah. The trip is limited to 22 participants, with a wait list enabled after capacity is reached. Registration closes on September 24 at 11:59 PM Mountain Time.
The itinerary includes group runs across a range of distances and difficulties. Participants run together and the organizer states that before registering, participants should be comfortable running 15 to 17 miles on trails.
- Two short runs of 3 to 4 miles each
- One 17 to 20 mile East Rim to Cable Mountain or West Rim run
- One easy 4 mile trail run or hike along the Virgin River
Registration covers national park entry fees for all three park days, group lunches during park days, van transportation with gas for the group, and a double occupancy hotel room at the Tru by Hilton in St. George. Flights, hotel incidentals, dinners, personal snacks, and drinks are not included. The organizer recommends booking flights from Sacramento to Las Vegas; current roundtrip prices are noted near $350.
Pricing is tiered by date: early, standard, and late registration levels. The event has a refund schedule with full refund through April 18, reduced refunds with cancellation fees through September 18, and no refunds after September 18.
