Ponderosa Polar Challenge 2026
The Ponderosa Polar Challenge takes place November 7 to 9, 2026 at Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort in Orderville, Utah, near Zion National Park. The event spans multiple days and offers a range of trail distances on a looped course.
Participants choose their own distance within a 52 hour cutoff for the multi-day options. The course is composed of three loops that can be run in either direction and can be combined for longer circuits.

All participants receive three nights of camping as part of registration. Runners tackling 50k and longer distances are provided race weekend meals and aid station snacks located at the home base and start/finish area for each loop. Runners in distances of a marathon or less receive breakfast Saturday morning and may opt in for additional meals for a fee. The resort lists on-site recreational options such as a pool, hot tub, and courts. Support personnel such as pacers and spectators must use a day pass, camping, or on-site lodging. A portion of event proceeds will be donated to an animal rescue organization and to a trail maintenance volunteer group. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
