Devil's Den Ultra : Bradford, Vermont
Devil's Den Ultra takes place on Wright's Mountain near Bradford, Vermont, with the start/finish and pit area located at 1250 Chase Hollow Road. The event uses a loop course described as a 10K trail that begins with a steeper climb to the peak and then a wooded downhill back to the start. The trail surface varies from easy runnable to steep, rocky and rooty sections and includes one road crossing. The loop begins on private property; runners are asked to stay on public trails when training.
The event offers the following race options:
- 30 hour format
- 12 hour format
- 10K loop race
Total field size will be capped at 100 runners. Pre registration is available the night before at the start/finish area; 30 hour entrants may set up tents in their assigned space that evening. The pre registration period runs from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The 12 hour format includes space for a drop bin; the 30 hour format includes a 10' X 10' pit area per runner. If a waitlist opens, applicants will be notified by October 6, 2026 if they are accepted. Organizers can discuss payment plan options on request.
Finish awards include an upside down Devil tarot card for all finishers and additional tarot cards or prizes for mileage milestones and top performers in the 12 hour and 30 hour formats, including a belt buckle for 100 miles. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
