The Devauden Races is an annual off-road charity event for the Severn Area Rescue Association. Runners and families can choose from 10k, 5k, 2.4k, or a 60m junior dash on the scenic trails of Chepstow Park Woods. The event starts and finishes at The Hood Memorial Hall in Devauden.

Event Overview

The Devauden Races is an annual, entirely off-road running event. It starts and finishes at The Hood Memorial Hall in Devauden, located on the northern edge of Chepstow Park Woods. The event is a charity fundraiser for the Severn Area Rescue Association (SARA), a local organization that provides search and rescue support for emergency services.

Distances and Courses

The races are run on the trails of Chepstow Park Woods. There are four distances available:

A 10 km race for participants aged 15 and over.
A 5 km race for participants aged 15 and over.
A 2.4 km race for participants aged 8 and over.
A 60 m junior dash for children aged between 3 and 10. Entry for this dash is free, with a small donation requested on the day.
