Event details
The 3 French Hens Run takes place on 8th December 2026 at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words - physical.growth.shelf). Entrants choose a target distance from the following options:
- 5k (2 laps)
- 10k
- Half Marathon
- Marathon
- Ultra
Each lap is 2.5 km. The course is off-road and runs entirely within the grounds of Pengethley Manor. The route includes a hill on each lap and a series of up-and-down sections that pass through two vineyards. Participants must complete their chosen distance within a seven hour time limit. The event is open to walkers and runners.
Entry and practical information
On-the-day race bibs are issued at registration; virtual entrants receive a personalised virtual bib by email. Paid entrants receive medals; free virtual participation is recorded on the results list but does not include a medal. Virtual runners can submit proof via the organiser’s Strava club or by emailing run evidence; international postage for medals incurs an additional cost. Entry fees listed are: Race Entry £29.00, Virtual UK Entry £25.00, Virtual Overseas Entry £39.00. All entry fees are non-refundable. A charity entry option is available for a reduced fee of £10.00 when the entrant commits to specified fundraising conditions. Personal cancellation insurance can be added at booking.
