Event details
The 3 French Hens Run takes place on 9 December 2025 at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words: physical.growth.shelf). It is part of a 12 Days of Christmas race series. Entrants choose a target distance from a range of road and trail options and must complete their chosen distance within a 7-hour limit. The course is offroad, contained within the grounds of Pengethley Manor, and includes a hill plus a series of ups and downs that pass through two vineyards. Each lap measures 2.5 km; the 5k option is two laps. The event is open to walkers and runners.

Race bibs are collected at on-site registration. Virtual bibs are emailed to paid entrants before the event. Virtual participation is allowed from anywhere; free virtual participation via the organiser’s Strava club will be recorded in results but does not include a medal. Paid entries, including virtual entries, are eligible for the event medal; medals are unique to each day in the series and virtual and race medals are the same type. Entry fees listed on the event page include Race Entry £29.00, Virtual UK £25.00, Virtual Overseas £39.00.
