Event information
The 7 Swans a Swimming is part of the organiser’s 12 Days of Christmas race series and takes place on 13th December 2025 at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words: physical.growth.shelf). The course is offroad and runs entirely within the manor grounds; the organiser describes it as very tough, with a hill on each lap and a series of ups and downs through two vineyards. Each lap is 2.5 km.
Participants choose a target distance from the following options:
- 5k (2 laps)
- 10k
- Half Marathon
- Marathon
- Ultra
Runners and walkers may enter. Competitors have a 7-hour time limit to complete their chosen distance.
Entries, medals and participant rules
Entry options include a paid on-site race entry and virtual entries. Fees listed by the organiser are: Race Entry £29.00, Virtual UK Entry £25.00, Virtual Overseas Entry £39.00. A charity entry option is available for £10.00 with a fundraising requirement of at least twice the entry fee and funds raised four weeks before the event.
All deposits and payments are non-refundable. Entries can be deferred for a £15 fee up to four weeks before the event. Entrants must be aged 18 or over and are responsible for their fitness, equipment and safety. Race bibs are collected at registration; virtual entrants receive a personalised virtual bib by email and can have their run verified for a medal by joining the organiser’s Strava club or by submitting proof of their run.
