The 7 Swans a Swimming is part of a 12 Days of Christmas race series and takes place at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words: physical.growth.shelf). Entrants choose a target distance from the options below. The course is offroad, contained within the manor grounds, and includes a hill plus a series of ups and downs through two vineyards. Each lap measures 2.5 km. Participants have a 7-hour time limit to complete their chosen distance. The event is described as suitable for walkers and runners.

Entry, medals and rules
Race entry, virtual UK entry and virtual overseas entry fees are stated in the event information, and all payments are non-refundable. There is a charity entry option for a reduced fee that requires raising a minimum amount for the organiser's nominated charity and meeting fundraising deadlines. Entrants aged 18 and over must register and collect their race bib at registration; virtual entrants receive a personalised virtual bib by email. Each day in the series has its own unique medal; race and virtual medals are the same type. Virtual entries can be verified for medal posting, with additional postage costs for international addresses.
