On-the-day entry may be available for an additional £2 if the event has not sold out.
Courses and facilities
- 14.2 miles
- 7.9 miles
The 14.2-mile route heads from Dent towards Sedbergh, turns back at Rash Bridge, passes Cowgill and Ewegales, and finishes in the centre of Dent. The 7.9-mile route covers the first half of the longer course before returning to finish in the village. Both courses are on roads with hilly profiles. Markers will indicate the 10 km and half-marathon points.
Facilities at race headquarters in the school include water stations, distance markers, toilets, changing rooms, showers, baggage storage, and chip-timing results displayed on a large screen inside the school. Finishers receive hot drinks, sandwiches and cake. Free car parking is provided in the village and parking marshals will direct vehicles; roadside parking on the course is not permitted. Trophies and prizes follow England Athletics age categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
