The 14.2-mile route runs from Dent towards Sedbergh, turns back at Rash Bridge, continues past Cowgill and turns back at Ewegales to finish in the centre of Dent. Both races are chip timed and numbers are collected on the day. Results are displayed on a large screen inside the school after finishing. Finishers are provided with hot drinks, sandwiches and cakes. On-course facilities include water stations, distance markers, toilets, changing facilities, showers and baggage storage. Free car parking is available in the village; drivers are asked to follow the instructions of parking marshals and not to park on the roadside.
