Routes, parking and spectators

Distances:

  • 14.2 miles : Dent to Sedbergh, turn at Rash Bridge, return via Cowgill, finish in village.
  • 7.9 miles : Follows the first half of the course then returns to finish in Dent village.

Organisers note that Dent village is small and recommend arriving in plenty of time and following the instructions of parking marshals. For safety, parking on the roadside anywhere on the course is not allowed. Spectators are welcome and are asked to avoid actions that could endanger runners, volunteers or other road users. Results from previous years are kept for past events. The event is supported by a number of sponsors and donors. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
