Running Event in Lévis
The Demi-Marathon de Lévis Promutuel Assurance is a significant sporting event held on the south shore of Quebec City. The race is known for its downhill and fast course, attracting thousands of participants. The event holds a gold sanction from Athlétisme Québec and has been recognized with awards for organizational excellence in the road running category.

The half-marathon route starts at Galeries Chagnon and winds through local neighborhoods for 4 km before reaching Boulevard Guillaume-Couture. Runners then join the Parcours des Anses for the remaining 14 km, a scenic bike path offering views of the St. Lawrence River and Quebec City. The finish line for the various races is located at Juvénat Notre-Dame in Saint-Romuald.
The 5 km, 10 km, and 21.1 km courses are measured according to international standards and are certified by Athletics Canada. Results achieved on the 21.1 km course are accepted as qualifying times for major international events, such as the New York City Marathon.
