10 km Université Laval 2026
The 10 km Université Laval 2026 takes place at the PEPS of Université Laval in Québec on September 20 2026. The event is organized by Rouge et Or Athlétisme in collaboration with Groupe Défis and is sanctioned by Athlétisme Québec.
Four distances are offered:
- 800 m
- 1.5 km
- 5 km
- 10 km
The 800 m and 1.5 km races are open to all. Trophies will be awarded to the top three times in the following categories: 800 m (8 years and under) and 1.5 km (12 years and under). The 5 km course has a water station at km 3. The 10 km course has water stations at km 3 and km 7.
Bib pickup takes place in front of Decathlon at the PEPS on Friday September 18 from 15:00 to 19:00 and Saturday September 19 from 11:00 to 14:00. On event day, bibs can be collected at the track near the start. PEPS locker rooms are available; participants must bring their own lock and towel. The bib also serves as access pass to the locker area.
A medical emergency plan is in place with a vehicle provided by Clinique du PEPS and a first aid trailer near the start. Streets will be closed to motor vehicle traffic during the event.
PEPS parking is paid from September 1 with a maximum daily fee of CA$5.20; public transit and carpooling are encouraged. Each participant receives a wooden medal made in Quebec; refusing the medal at registration is possible. The registration policy allows transfers or refunds minus transaction fees up to 30 days before the event; after that date changes of distance are subject to conditions and possible surcharges.
