About the race
The 10 km Université Laval event takes place at the PEPS de l'Université Laval in Québec City on 19 September 2027. The race is presented by Rouge et Or Athlétisme in collaboration with Groupe Défis and is sanctioned by Athlétisme Québec. The event is described as one of the oldest road races in Quebec and the oldest sporting event at Université Laval.

- 800 m
- 1.5 km
- 5 km
- 10 km
The 800 m and 1.5 km races are open to all participants; trophies for the 800 m are awarded to top finishers in the children category for age 8 and under, and trophies for the 1.5 km are awarded within the youth category specified by the event. The 5 km course has a water station at kilometre 3. The 10 km course has water stations at kilometres 3 and 7. A wooden finisher medal made in Quebec is provided to each participant; participants may decline the medal at registration to reduce waste.
Practical details noted by the organizer include paid parking at the PEPS with a daily maximum fee and temporary street closures during the event. A medical plan is in place with a PEPS clinic vehicle and a first aid trailer near the start. Bib pickup is available the days before the event and on race day at the track. Locker rooms at PEPS are accessible; participants must supply their own padlock and towel. The organizer provides suggested maximum distances by child age category.
