10 km Université Laval : Event details
The 10 km Université Laval takes place on September 20, 2026 at the PEPS of Université Laval in Quebec City. The event is organized by Rouge et Or Athlétisme in collaboration with Groupe Défis and is sanctioned by Athlétisme Québec.
Four distances are offered:
- 800 m
- 1.5 km
- 5 km
- 10 km
Water is provided at km 3 on the 5 km course and at km 3 and km 7 on the 10 km course. Every participant receives a wooden medal made in Quebec; participants may decline the medal during registration.
Bibs are available for pickup at the PEPS on September 18 and 19 in front of Decathlon and on race day at the track. An emergency medical plan is in place with a vehicle provided by the PEPS clinic and a first aid trailer near the start. Streets will be closed to motor vehicle traffic during the event.
PEPS parking is paid from September 1; the maximum event daily rate is 5.20$ and use of public transit or carpooling is encouraged.
Registrations are transferable, refundable (excluding transaction fees) or modifiable until 30 days before the event. The official time for results is Gun Time in accordance with Athletics Canada standards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
