About the race
The 10 km Université Laval event is scheduled for September 19, 2027 at the PEPS de l'Université Laval in Québec City. The event is organized by Rouge et Or Athlétisme in collaboration with Groupe Défis and is sanctioned by Athlétisme Québec.
Four race distances are offered:
- 800 m
- 1.5 km
- 5 km
- 10 km
The 5 km course includes a water station at km 3. The 10 km course includes water stations at km 3 and km 7. Each participant receives a wooden medal made in Quebec; registrants may decline the medal at registration to reduce waste.
Dossard pickup is available at the PEPS in front of Decathlon on the Friday before the event (September 18) from 15:00 to 19:00 and on the Saturday before the event (September 19) from 11:00 to 14:00; on the day of the event, pickup is possible at the track near the start. A medical emergency plan is in place, including a vehicle from the Clinique du PEPS and a first aid trailer near the start.
Parking at the PEPS is paid as of September 1, 2025, with a maximum daily event fee of CA$6.20. Streets will be closed to automobile traffic during the event. Registrations are transferable, refundable (less transaction fees) or modifiable up to 30 days before the event; different rules and surcharges apply after that deadline.
