The Marathon Beneva de Québec takes place in Quebec City, offering participants a road race experience through historic and urban landscapes. The routes traverse three boroughs and nine neighborhoods, highlighting the city's heritage sites during the autumn season. The event features several distances:
- 42.2 km (Marathon): A certified course by Athletics Canada that can be used as a qualifier for the Boston Marathon. It has a time limit of 6 hours.
- 21.1 km (Half-Marathon): A fast and scenic route passing through Limoilou, Saint-Sauveur, Old Quebec, and Montcalm. It has a time limit of 4 hours.
- 10 km: A fast, accessible route located in the lively districts of Limoilou and Old Quebec. It has a time limit of 2 hours.
- 5 km: A festive course focused on health and personal achievement. It has a time limit of 1 hour.
- 2 km (Youth Race): A timed event for children aged 5 to 12, starting near the Cartier-Brébeuf National Historic Site.
The event is sanctioned Gold by Athletics Quebec and will host the Quebec 42.2 km championships in 2026 and 2027. All courses are measured to international standards.
