Event overview
The Beneva Quebec City Marathon presented by Brunet is an annual road running event held in Quebec City in early October. The courses run through urban and historic districts, crossing three boroughs and nine neighborhoods and including sections in Limoilou, Saint-Sauveur, Old Quebec and Montcalm. The event has received several awards and distinctions from provincial and tourism organizations.

All courses are measured to international standards and certified by Athletics Canada, making performances eligible for qualification to other marathons such as the Boston Marathon. The Kid’s Race starting line is located at Lieu historique national Cartier Brébeuf.
Sanction and championships
The event holds GOLD status from Athlétisme Québec. It will host the Quebec 42.2 km championships for 2026 and 2027 as part of the Coupe Québec Route. Age requirements vary by race category. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
