Beneva Quebec City Marathon presented by Brunet
The Beneva Quebec City Marathon presented by Brunet features multiple certified races measured to international standards by Athletics Canada. The courses highlight Quebec City’s urban and heritage attractions; the marathon route crosses three boroughs and nine neighborhoods, offering a condensed city tour.
Offered race distances include:
- 42.2 km (marathon)
- 21.1 km (half marathon)
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 2 km (kids)
The half marathon is described as fast and scenic, with sections through Limoilou, Saint-Sauveur, Old Quebec and Montcalm. The 10 km takes place through lively districts including Limoilou and Old Quebec. The 5 km is presented as an accessible and festive event. The kids 2 km race is an official timed event for children aged 5 to 12.
The event holds GOLD sanctioning from Athlétisme Québec and its certified courses can be used for qualification to other marathons. The marathon will host the Quebec 42.2 km championships for 2026 and 2027 as part of the Coupe Québec Route. Course maps and elevation profiles are provided for each distance.
