Beneva Quebec City Marathon
The Beneva Quebec City Marathon is a running and walking event that takes place through the streets of Quebec City. The urban course winds through three boroughs and nine neighborhoods, showcasing the city's historical attractions during the autumn season.
All event courses are measured to international standards and certified by Athletics Canada. The event holds a GOLD sanction from Athlétisme Québec. Runners can use their performance to qualify for major races such as the Boston Marathon. Additionally, the event will host the Quebec 42.2 km championships for 2026 and 2027 as part of the Coupe Québec Route.
The following race distances are available:
- 42.2 km: A full marathon for participants aged 18 and older, with a 6-hour time limit.
- 21.1 km: A scenic half-marathon crossing neighborhoods such as Limoilou, Saint-Sauveur, and Old Quebec (ages 14+).
- 10 km: A fast course through the festive districts of Limoilou and Old Quebec (ages 10+).
- 5 km: An accessible route celebrating health and fitness (ages 10+).
- 2 km: A timed kids race for children aged 5 to 12, starting at the Cartier-Brébeuf National Historic Site.
