The Demi-marathon de l'Acadie is a running event in Tracadie-Sheila, New Brunswick. The main distance is a half marathon. The event was first held in 2025. The start and finish are at Piscine S.A. Dionne, 4216 rue Hall, Tracadie. The course is not certified.
Course and race logistics
The original downtown route was changed because Snowball Bridge is closed. The new course uses the 10 km de Tracadie loop run twice to make the half marathon. Two water stations will be available on the course. Runners pick up their bibs before 9:45 on the second floor of Piscine S.A. Dionne. A meal will be served after the race and medals will be awarded.
Registration and entry rules
Registration is online only; there is no race day registration. The regular registration deadline is Sep 4 at 23:59 Atlantic Time. The entry fee is CAD $20.00 and the event does not allow refunds. The minimum age to register is 16. Runners who expect to need more than 2:15 to finish must request an early start from the race director before the Saturday of the race.
