Acadian Half Marathon
The event takes place on October 4th, 2026 in Tracadie-Sheila, New Brunswick. Due to the closure of the Snowball Bridge, the course has been modified. The start and finish are at the same location, the Piscine S. A. Dionne at 4216 rue Hall.
The course uses the Tracadie 10 km route, which participants run twice to complete the half marathon distance. Two water stations are provided along the route.
Registration is online only, with a fee of 20 CAD. The regular registration deadline is October 2nd at 23:59 (Atlantic Time). No race day registration is available. Runners must pick up their bib before 9:45 AM on the second floor of the pool.
After the race, a meal is served and medals are awarded. The minimum age to participate is 16 years old. The course is not certified. The event was established in 2025.
Runners who anticipate a finish time longer than 2 hours and 15 minutes can request an early start by contacting the race director before 6:00 PM on the Saturday before the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
