About the race
The Demi-marathon de l'Acadie on December 6, 2026 in Tracadie-Sheila, New Brunswick runs from and finishes at the Piscine S.A. Dionne (4216 rue Hall). The original point-to-point course from St-Isidore to Tracadie was changed in 2026 because the Snowball Bridge closed; the current course is two loops that start and end at the pool. The event offers two in-person distances and virtual options for both.
Both in-person distances start together on the same start line. Runners who expect to take more than 2 hours 20 minutes to complete the course may request an earlier start by informing the race director the day before the race. Registration is online only; there is no race day registration. Registration fees in CAD are listed as follows: Half Marathon $20, 10.55 km $15, and virtual entries $10.
All fees are non-refundable. The minimum age to register is 16 for the half marathon and 14 for the 10.55 km distance. Awards are given to the top three overall finishers and the top three women in each distance with gold, silver, and bronze medals. Medals are presented on the second floor of the Piscine S.A.
