Demi-marathon de l'Acadie
The Demi-marathon de l'Acadie takes place in Tracadie-Sheila on November 1, 2026. Established in 2026, the original course was changed due to the Snowball Bridge closure; the new route is two loops that start and finish at Piscine S.A. Dionne, 4216 rue Hall.

- 21.1 km (half marathon)
- 10.55 km
- Virtual options for both distances
Runners registered for both distances start from the same line and follow the same course; 10.55 km participants complete one loop while half marathon runners complete two. The event is held monthly on the first Sunday of each month, and the 10.55 km option was added in May 2026.
Registration and fees: registration is online only; there is no race day registration. Fees are listed in Canadian dollars and are non refundable.
Rules and awards: minimum age is 16 for the half marathon and 14 for the 10.55 km. The top three overall and the top three female finishers in each distance receive medals (gold, silver, bronze). Medals are presented on the 2nd floor of Piscine S.A. Dionne after the race, where a meal is served to participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
