Demi-marathon de l'Acadie
The Demi-marathon de l'Acadie takes place in Tracadie-Sheila, New Brunswick, with an edition in 2026. The original route was changed in 2026 because of the Snowball Bridge closure; the new course is two loops that start and finish at Piscine S.A. Dionne, 4216 rue Hall. The course is not certified.
The event offers on-site and virtual options for both distances. Registered runners for both distances start on the same start line; half half marathon participants run one loop, half marathon participants run the loop twice. The race is held monthly on the first Sunday of each month; the 10.55 km half half marathon was added starting May 2026.
Registration is online only; there is no race day registration. Regular registration deadline is July 31, 2026. All fees are non-refundable and payments are accepted online.
Rules and awards: minimum age is 16 for the half marathon and 14 for the half half marathon. The top three overall and the top three female finishers in each distance receive medals (gold, silver, bronze). Medals are awarded on the second floor of Piscine S.A. Dionne after the race, where a meal is served to participants.
