Event overview
The Delamere Forest Wildwood Trail Series Half Marathon & 10K takes place on Sunday 27 September 2026 at Delamere Forest, Cheshire. Race HQ is in front of the Delamere Forest Visitors Centre, Linmere, Delamere, Northwich, CW8 2HZ. The event includes trail running through wooded terrain with a mix of forest paths and technical sections, including steep climbs and muddy stretches. A canicross option is available for participants who wish to run with dogs.

Course, services and rules
The course is fully marked and marshalled, and there is a lead cyclist on the first lap of the half marathon. The event is chip timed with online results and event photography. Aid stations are provided; there are no plastic cups at water points so participants should bring a cup or bottle, or use the event reusable cup. Water bowls will be available for dogs. Finishers receive a medal. There is no bag drop; race bibs must be collected from the registration tent on race morning.
Participants must be aged 17 or over for the half marathon. The 10K has no upper age limit, but participants aged 14 or younger must run with an adult.
Logistics and fees
Parking is available at Whitefield Car Park, Oakmere, Frodsham, WA6 6NX; parking charges apply. Fees listed for the event include early bird and standard prices: Half Marathon £32 early bird / £37 standard; 10K £22 early bird / £27 standard.
