Delamere Forest Wildwood Trail Series
The Delamere Forest Wildwood Trail Series offers a Half Marathon and a 10K on forest trails at Delamere Forest near Northwich. Race HQ is in front of the Delamere Forest Visitors Centre, Linmere, Delamere, CW8 2HZ. The route runs on signed forest paths and technical trails through dense woodland, with steep climbs, muddy sections, and scenic views. The half marathon comprises two laps of the course and the 10K is one lap.

The event is chip timed and has marshals on course, aid stations, online results, event photography, and a finishers medal. A canicross option and water bowls for dogs are available; the event is described as dog friendly. Participants must be aged 17 or over for the half marathon. There is no age limit for the 10K but participants aged 14 or younger must run with an adult. There is a race cut off at 1:30 PM.
Practical details include parking at Whitefield Car Park, Oakmere, Frodsham WA6 6NX, and Delamere railway station is about 800 metres from the Visitor Centre. The event uses reusable and biodegradable materials where possible, does not provide plastic cups at water stations, and offers a reusable Wildwood cup at registration.
