Delamere Forest Wildwood Trail Series

The Delamere Forest Wildwood Trail Series offers two trail race distances that run on marked forest paths and technical singletrack through Delamere Forest, Cheshire. The event uses natural terrain with steep climbs, muddy sections and rolling trails and includes marshals and a lead cyclist on the first lap of the half marathon.
Race headquarters are at Delamere Forest Visitors Centre, Linmere, Delamere, Northwich, CW8 2HZ. Parking is available at Whitefield Car Park, Oakmere, WA6 6NX, and Delamere railway station is about 800 metres from the visitor centre.
Distances:
- Half Marathon - two laps of the trail course
- 10K - one lap of the trail course
The event is chip timed with online results, aid stations on route, event photography and finishers medals. A canicross option is available and water bowls are provided for dogs. There is no bag drop; competitors are asked to leave bags in their vehicles. Race bibs must be collected on race morning from the registration tent. The course is signposted and marshalled so participants do not need to navigate with a map; a lead cyclist accompanies the first lap of the half marathon.
Event sustainability measures include use of recycled and biodegradable materials in event set-up, reduced single-use plastic at water stations, and encouragement of car-free travel options.
