The Wilmslow Festive 10K takes place on Sunday 22nd November 2026. It is a traditional festive season event that often sells out in advance. The course is a single loop, starting in Wilmslow town centre and finishing on Mobberley Road/Sandy Lane.
Course Details
The route begins with a town centre start and passes through leafy residential streets. It features a mix of flat running and countryside scenery on fully closed roads. The first 5K is described as 'lightning quick'. The 10K course is officially measured and certified by UK Athletics.
Event Amenities
Facilities include a bag drop, toilets, and first aid. Pacers are available from 35 to 80 minutes, every 2.5 minutes between 35 and 75 minutes. A drink station is located at the halfway point and at the finish. A post-race snack and bottled water are provided. All finishers receive a bespoke medal. The race HQ and event postcode is SK9 1BU. Public transport is available via the Wilmslow train station, which is 0.2 miles from the start line. Ample town centre parking is available. Car sharing is encouraged. Entry fees are £28 for club runners and £30 for non-club runners. Entries close when the participant limit is reached; no entries are available on race day.
