Wilmslow Festive 10K - Wilmslow, 22 November 2026
The Wilmslow Festive 10K is a UKA-licensed, one-lap 10 kilometres road race held in Wilmslow. The course starts in the town centre, passes through residential streets and country roads, and finishes on Mobberley Road / Sandy Lane. The route is on fully closed roads and has been measured and certified as an accurate 10K course.
Timing is electronic with chip timing and immediate results available. Pacers are provided between 35 and 80 minutes, with more frequent pacers between 35 and 75 minutes. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and there is an optional commemorative technical finishers t-shirt. Facilities listed for the event include KM markers, drinks (halfway point and finish), bag drop, first aid, toilets and a post-race snack.
Entries close when the event limit is reached and there are no on-the-day entries or an official waiting list; this edition is sold out. Entry fees were listed as £28 for club runners and £30 for non-club runners. Prize presentations take place after the race for the top 5 male and female finishers by gun time; prize money is awarded for places one to five. Veteran prizes are based on chip times and cover V35 in five-year age groups plus first U20.
The official race charity is The Christie Charity; fundraising totals cited exceed £140,000 as of June 2026.
