Wilmslow Festive 10K 2026
Wilmslow Festive 10K on 22 November 2026 is a UKA licensed road race in Wilmslow, postcode SK9 1BU. The event distance is 10 km on a one lap course that starts in the town centre and finishes on Mobberley Road / Sandy Lane.
The route passes through leafy residential streets and scenic country roads, with a mix of flat running and countryside scenery. The first 5K is described as very speedy. The course is measured and certified as an accurate 10K and is run on fully closed roads.
Chip timing is provided and pacers are available for target finish times from 35 to 80 minutes, with additional pacers at closer intervals between 35 and 75 minutes. All finishers receive a bespoke medal; there is an optional commemorative technical finishers T shirt. Other event services include drinks stations at the halfway point and finish, bottled water from a supplier using 51% recycled plastic, KM markers, bag drop, toilets and first aid. A post race snack is provided.
Prize presentations for the top five male and female finishers are based on gun times, with veteran prizes issued by email based on chip times. Entry fees are listed as £28 for club runners and £30 for non club runners. Entries close once the event limit is reached; there is no official on the day entry or waiting list when sold out. Transfers are permitted to another person or to the virtual race option up until midnight Saturday 23 November. The event charity partner is The Christie Charity, with over £140,000 raised as of June 2026.
