Wilmslow Festive 10K 2026
The Wilmslow Festive 10K takes place in Wilmslow (postcode SK9 1BU) on 22 November 2026. The event is a licensed UKA race run over a certified 10 km one lap course on fully closed roads. The route starts in the town centre, passes through leafy residential streets and countryside roads, and finishes on Mobberley Road / Sandy Lane. The first 5K is described as very quick.
Chip timing is provided and pacers are available between 35 and 80 minutes, with more frequent pacers every 2.5 minutes from 35 to 75 minutes. All finishers receive a bespoke medal; there is an optional commemorative technical finishers T shirt. Facilities listed for the event include a drinks station at the halfway point and finish, bottled water supplied from a recycled and recyclable source, bag drop, first aid and toilets. A post race snack is provided.
Presentations for the top five male and female finishers will take place immediately after the race based on gun times. Veteran prizes are awarded by age group and are sent by email based on chip times. Prize money is listed for the first five places. Entry fees are shown for club runners and non club runners, and entries close when the event reaches its limit.
Transport notes mention ample parking in Wilmslow town centre, bike storage at Everybody Leisure SK9 1BU, and that Wilmslow train station is close to Race HQ and about 0.2 miles from the start line.
