The Wilmslow Festive 10K takes place on 22 November 2026 in Wilmslow (postcode SK9 1BU). The event distance is 10 kilometres and the race is licensed by UKA. Entry fees are listed as £28 for club runners and £30 for non-club runners. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and there is an optional commemorative technical finishers T-shirt.
Course and facilities
The race is a one-lap course starting in Wilmslow town centre and finishing on Mobberley Road / Sandy Lane. It runs on scenic country roads and through residential streets. The course is measured and certified as an accurate 10K and is held on fully closed roads. Chip timing is used. Pacers are available with target times from 35 to 80 minutes (every 2.5 minutes from 35 to 75). Drinks are provided at the halfway point and the finish. Facilities include bag drop, toilets, first aid, post-race snacks and downloadable high-resolution images. Bottled water is provided in bottles made from 51% recycled plastic and fully recyclable. Bike storage is available at Everybody Leisure, Wilmslow, and the nearest train station is Wilmslow.
Entries and prizes
Entries close when the event reaches its limit; there is no on-the-day entry or official waiting list. Transfers are allowed to another person or to a virtual entry up to midnight on Saturday 23 November. Refunds are not offered and transfers to other Run North West events are not permitted. Prize presentations take place after the race for the top five male and female finishers by gun time; veteran prizes (V35 to V85+ in five-year increments) are based on chip time and are sent by email.
