Davidson Doozie 5K & 10K
The Davidson Doozie is scheduled for September 12, 2026, at the Davidson County Health Department in Lexington, North Carolina. The event raises funds to support survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and stalking in Davidson County.
Race options include:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles, two laps of the 5K course)
- Kids Run (0.25 miles)
The 5K course follows a scenic loop through Lexington; 10K participants run that loop twice. The Kids Run is beach-themed this year. Children ages 0–5 complete one lap around the building, and children ages 6 and up complete two laps. Every child in the Kids Run will receive a special medal at the finish line.
Entry fees listed for the running events are $30 for the adult 5K, $25 for the 5K for those 18 and under, $35 for the 10K, and no fee for the Kids Run. All participants receive a race shirt while supplies last. Awards will be presented to top finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
