Event Overview
The Dirty Dozen Obstacle Mud Run is an annual event held at the Jerry Long Family YMCA in Clemmons, North Carolina. The 2026 edition marks the eighth year of this competition, which combines running with various physical obstacles and mud sections. The course is designed to test agility, strength, and endurance through a series of stations.
The event features two primary distances to accommodate different age groups and preferences:

Participants start in heats that depart every 10 minutes. The event coincides with the Clemmons Oktoberfest, which takes place on-site from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. For the 2026 race, new finisher medals are provided for both the 5K and the Fun Run categories.
