Dirty Dozen 5K and Fun Run Obstacle Mud Run
The Dirty Dozen 5K and Fun Run Obstacle Mud Run is scheduled for Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the Jerry Long Family YMCA in Clemmons, NC 27012. This is the eighth annual edition of the event. The program includes individual and team entries and a separate fun run.

Event details
The 5K course is open to participants aged 7 and up; the Fun Run is open to participants of all ages. The course layouts include obstacle elements intended to test strength, agility, and endurance. Team entries are offered in a Team of Four format. New medals will be awarded for both the 5K and the Fun Run in 2026.
Proceeds from the event support YMCA health programs, including initiatives that benefit cancer survivors and people managing chronic diseases. Registration for the event opens on January 1, 2026. Clemmons Oktoberfest is scheduled to take place at the same time as the event.
Additional services
On race day, childcare is available; it is free for YMCA members and for non-member volunteers. Non-members pay a fee for childcare for children from 3 months to age 10, and there is an additional fee for late childcare registrations.
