Dirty Dozen 5K and Fun Run Obstacle Mud Run
The Dirty Dozen 5K and Fun Run Obstacle Mud Run is the 8th annual event on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the Jerry Long Family YMCA in Clemmons, NC 27012. The program includes individual entries and Team of Four entries alongside a shorter fun run option.
Distances offered:
- 5K course for ages 7 and up
- 1 Mile Fun Run for participants of all ages
Participants will navigate a course with multiple obstacles intended to challenge strength, agility, and endurance. Heats are scheduled to start at regular intervals every ten minutes. New medals are planned for both the 5K and the Fun Run for 2026.
Proceeds from the event support YMCA health programs, including initiatives that benefit cancer survivors and people managing chronic diseases. Childcare on race day is available; it is free for YMCA of NWNC members and non member volunteers. For non members there is a fee of $10 per child for ages three months to ten years, with an additional fee for late registrations and a pre registration deadline on the evening of September 11, 2026.
