Miles for Migraine North Carolina

The Miles for Migraine North Carolina event takes place at Jamison Park in Winston-Salem. This annual gathering is the seventh edition of the event, serving as a fundraiser dedicated to migraine and headache awareness, treatment, and research. Participants can choose between two primary athletic distances:

5K Run
2 Mile Walk

The 5K Run is professionally timed for those interested in tracking their performance. All participants who complete either the walk or the run receive a finisher medal. Beyond the athletic events, the site features a festival area where attendees can visit sponsors and listen to various speakers. Participants are encouraged to wear purple clothing for the opportunity to receive a prize.

The proceeds from the event support the Comprehensive Headache Program at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. These funds contribute to local research, fellowship training programs, and various services provided by Miles for Migraine.
