Race details
Bib pick-up is available on race day and requires a photo ID for check-in. The event uses professional chip timing and posts results after the race. Parking inside City Park is restricted; nearby City Park lots, the Zoo lots, or surrounding neighborhood parking are suggested, and there is a short walk to the start line.
The event offers participant swag and post-race activities: the first 100 registrants were guaranteed a commemorative t-shirt and goody bag, goody bags are handed out at the finish line, top finishers receive prizes, and everyone who participates or volunteers receives a raffle ticket. The University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine will host a head and neck educational screening booth staffed by students and licensed dentists for participants, volunteers, and spectators. The event provides information on oral cancer including risk factors (tobacco, heavy alcohol use, HPV), common symptoms (non-healing sores, lumps, red or white patches), treatment options (surgery, radiation, sometimes chemotherapy), and projections for 2024 of roughly 58,450 new cases and about 12,230 deaths.
