DASH Adventure Race
The DASH Adventure Race is a USARA sectioned sprint event held on May 15, 2027, in Heber City, Utah at 515 UT-319, near Jordanelle State Park. The race uses the Jordanelle State Park biking trails and combines trekking, mountain biking, and navigation over a roughly 15 miles course. The format is a five hour sprint adventure race with sections that include on-trail and off-trail foot travel.
Racers must have a mountain bike for the biking sections and will navigate with a map and compass; checkpoints on the foot sections are placed both on and off trail. The organizer describes the race as suitable for beginner to intermediate trail runners and mountain bikers.
Entry options include solo and team categories (two-, three-, and four-person teams). Race registration opens October 1, 2026 and race entry registration closes December 2, 2026. Published entry fees are $85.00 for the solo category and $80.00 for team categories. Volunteer registration is free, opens October 1, 2026, and remains open through May 13, 2027.
Volunteer duties include support with parking and racer registration, recording finish times and managing the finish area, and collecting checkpoints and packing up race headquarters equipment after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
