DASH Adventure Race
The DASH Adventure Race takes place in Kamas, Utah on 09/26/2026 and uses terrain in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, including the Slate Creek mountain biking trails. The event combines trekking, mountain biking, and navigation and is offered in a sprint format and a family format.
The sprint option covers 15 Miles and is a USARA sectioned sprint adventure race. The sprint uses Slate Creek singletrack and requires a mountain bike for the biking sections. Navigation with a map and compass is required; some foot-section checkpoints are on and off trail. Sprint divisions include solo and team entries. Registration fees listed for sprint divisions include a solo fee of $75.00 and team fees of $70.00 for 2, 3, and 4 person teams.
The family course covers 5 Miles and is designed for new and young racers. Bikes are optional on the family course, checkpoints remain close to race headquarters, and map and compass navigation is not required. Trails are dirt and can be muddy, and no technical riding is required for the family course. Children under 16 are free and must be accompanied by an adult; each adult requires registration.
Volunteer roles support parking, racer registration, recording finish times, maintaining the finish and food area, collecting checkpoints, and packing up race headquarters equipment. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
