Run for Precious Hearts
The Run for Precious Hearts is a community 1K and 5K event in Pleasant Grove, Utah, created to honor people affected by Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) and to raise awareness for this rare and often misunderstood disease. The event is held in memory of a young local resident who died at age 26 from PAH and who had strong ties to Pleasant Grove.
The event is described as family friendly and welcomes runners, walkers, children, and supporters of various ages and abilities. It is organized as a morning of remembrance and community connection. All net proceeds will support PAH awareness, patient advocacy, and research aimed at earlier diagnosis and improved treatments for people living with pulmonary hypertension.
