Event details
The Daly Dash 5K Run/Walk takes place on Saturday, May 2, 2026. Registration opens November 30, 2025; the listed entry fee is $25 for each event. Participants who register before April 15 are guaranteed a race t-shirt. All runners receive participant ribbons; the top three male and female finishers in each division receive medals, and the top three overall male and female finishers receive trophies. All events are held rain or shine. A block party on the school grounds will be offered for participants, with free games, a bounce house, and food available from vendors.

Location and course
The event is based at Mary Daly Elementary School, 1735 Strong Avenue, Elkhart, IN 46514. Both the 5K and 1 Mile courses run through the Strong Avenue neighborhood, beginning and ending at the school. Some events list age eligibility, for example the adult 5K is open to ages 18-100 and several 5K divisions are organized by school grade or high school/junior high.
