Event Overview
Dalby's Inferno is a backyard-style ultra marathon held in Dalby Forest. The 2026 edition will be the sixth year of the event. The format involves completing a trail loop repeatedly within set time limits.
Course and Format
The event consists of 10 laps of a 5.5 km forest trail loop, totaling 55 km. Each lap starts on the hour. Participants have one hour to complete each lap to be eligible to start the next one. Those who finish all 10 laps complete an ultra marathon distance.
Event Details
The entry fee covers race entry, free vehicle entry into Dalby Forest, and two nights of camping (Friday and Saturday) at the Adderstone campsite. The campsite is near the start/finish area, approximately 100 meters away, and includes toilets and fresh water. Hard-standing is available for campervans. Hot food and drinks are available for purchase on the day.
Registration is available on Friday evening or Saturday morning. The race starts strictly at 9:00 AM. There is no age limit, but the minimum age to participate is 16 years. Dogs are not allowed on the run but may camp if well-controlled.
A pre-order option for a technical T-shirt is available when entering online, with a cut-off date for orders.

The specific route will not be published before the event day. There are no deferrals or refunds offered, though participants may purchase separate refund protection.
