Event Overview

The Dalby Forest Head Torch Challenge is a night-time trail running event. The course uses single tracks and trails through Dalby Forest. Some of these paths are mostly unused by the public and will only be run on for this event. Participants can expect to get dirty, and a head torch or hand-held torch is required. For insurance reasons, participants must be at least 16 years old on the event date.

Registration & Logistics

Online entries are available for £19.00, plus a £1.90 booking fee per entry. Online entries close on 19 January 2027. There will be no entries available on the night of the event. The event has an entry limit of 650 participants due to parking restrictions at the Dalby Visitor Centre. Registration will close when this limit is reached. Head torches will not be sold at the event.

Awards & Details

Awards are given to the first five male finishers and the first five female finishers. All finishers will receive a medal, a new feature for the 2027 event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
