Dahlonega's Annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot 5k and Fun Run
The event is a community road run held on November 26, 2026, in Dahlonega that follows a course through Camp Glisson. It includes a 5K race and a shorter Fun Run held the same day. The event takes place in and around Dahlonega and lists packet pick-up at Lumpkin County High School, 2001 Indian Drive, Dahlonega, GA 30533.

Open registration runs from August 28, 2026 through October 4, 2026 with a registration fee of $35.00. A drive thru early packet pick-up is scheduled for November 24, 2026 at Lumpkin County High School. Race day registration and packet pick-up are also at Lumpkin County High School.
T-shirts are short sleeve tri-blend shirts. Shirts can only be guaranteed for participants who register prior to November 19, 2026.
Proceeds from the event benefit Lumpkin Family Connection. Awards are given to overall male and female finishers and to age group winners in the listed brackets: 9 and under, 10 to 14, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 plus.
