White County Turkey Trot
The White County Turkey Trot takes place on November 14, 2026, in Cleveland, Georgia, with start and finish at the Recreation Center at Yonah Preserve. The event offers both in-person and virtual options and uses a 5K course that runs entirely inside the park.

- 5K (in-person Run/Walk)
- 5K (virtual Run/Walk)
All in-person participants receive a race T-shirt, bib, course support, and post-race refreshments. Virtual participants receive a race T-shirt; registrants should provide an email so a mailing address can be obtained. T-shirt guarantee deadline is October 18, 2026; after that date shirts are not guaranteed and will be available as supplies last.
Registration opens July 22, 2026. Online registration is the only method accepted; no walk-up cash registration will be available. In-person registration for the in-person 5K closes October 2, 2026, and virtual registration remains open through November 14, 2026 at 8:45 a.m.
Proceeds from this event will support United Way of White County.
Awards are given to first and second place male and female finishers in Overall, Masters (50+), and age groups: 10 and under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Awards will not be mailed and must be picked up at the awards table if the recipient leaves before the awards presentation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
