Lake Burton Fun Run
The Lake Burton Fun Run takes place on July 4, 2026. The event center is Laprade's Marina at 25 Shoreline Trail, Clarkesville, GA 30523. The starting line is located at Moccasin Creek State Park; participants park at Laprade's Marina and use a shuttle hay ride to reach the start. Organizers recommend car pooling to reduce parking demand.
There are two registration options. One is a running entry for a two mile course with a registration fee of $35. Registration for that entry opens on April 1, 2026 and closes on June 15, 2026. The second option is a shirt only registration with a fee of $25. Shirt only registration opens on April 1, 2026 and remains open through the event day. Shirts must be picked up on race day following the two mile fun run.
