Commack Volunteer Ambulance 5K Run/Walk : August 8, 2026
The Commack Volunteer Ambulance 5K Run/Walk takes place in Commack, NY at the Commack Volunteer Ambulance Corps (200 Burr Road). The event is held rain or shine and includes both a community 5K and a separate free fun run.

The course is USATF certified. Timing is provided with live online, text, and email results. Finish line photos are free and race numbers can be personalized for entrants who register at least three weeks before the event. T-shirts are provided to the first 300 registrants.
Awards are given for top overall finishers, top first responders, and multiple age-group categories including divisions for youth, standard adult age ranges, and senior age groups. The event benefits the Commack Volunteer Ambulance Corp, a volunteer, not-for-profit community ambulance service that provides pre-hospital emergency care and transportation to Commack and parts of neighboring communities and has been in service for over 50 years.
